The production of a CD will bring the Birckholtz project to the attention of a wider audience and document the tonal color and playing qualities of this remarkable instrument.

In the summer of 2008 the first CD program was recorded in the church at Belitz by Sabastian Pank for the “Raumklang“ label. JF Madeuf chose the CD program from the repertoire of the 2008 concert. A booklet in German, French, and English that gives extensive information about the music, the composers, and the instruments accompanies the CD. The CD was released by the “Raumklang“ label in October of 2009 for world wide distribution.
